Holiday Haven Currarong

We just want to Thank the lovely staff for making our holiday special! We spent 5 nights here and absolutely enjoyed it, our 6 boys couldn't get enough of the pool and splash pad and also enjoyed playing mini golf. The jumping pillow was great, our younger boys wouldn't stop talking about it once they had returned to the cabin. Our cabins 5 & 8 were side by side and were in excellent condition and very clean. We would highly recommend coming to this amazing holiday park, and we will be back in 2024!!

We stayed here three weeks ago for the Callala triathlon. Beach nearby, as well as an on-site pool, and some fun things for kids. There's a little camp kitchen for us campers, with a fridge/freezer and oven. Every time we needed something, Sarah on reception was awesome at helping us out. Always greeting us with a beautiful smile, she was so knowledgeable that I couldn't believe she'd been working there less than a week! We had such a good time that we've booked to stay here again in February for the Husky Triathlon Festival, and we'll be staying for a few days longer to really appreciate the surrounding area. One thing to note is that the code for the boom gate expires at 10.30am on the date of departure. It's also the code for the toilet block too, so be prepared for that!

Caravan power site. Online check in easy access. Coming here for over 25 years. Same site but from non- powered updated to power, dump point etc, new bitumen roadway and raised ground levelling. Unfortunately, once level sites with soil settling has meant poor water run off from site(s) to roadway drainage which handles well. Advised new manager of a few months that great works have not followed up with filling in many areas especially where annexed are on sites. Although unusual weather this week - flooding is caused by lack of followup levelling and will get worst during peak season. Hope this is rectified otherwise many would not rebook. Great beach in easy walking distance, good boating/fishing, easy beautiful walks, neat Currarong Bowling Club (kid friendly), bistro good variety (love the squid) but something for all including pool tables, darts, bowls and more. Worth a visit or holiday at Currarong NSW about 20km from Nowra on the coast - easy drive.

Stayed here with the family on an ensuite site located next to the pool and jumping pillow. Was a great location and everyone had a blast. Easy to book in with very friendly staff. Ensuite was very clean and quite large. Consisting of a shower with glass door plus toilet and sink. Our site had flat fake grass which was awesome for our kids to play on too. Will definitely bring the family back soon.

Stayed 7 nights. Site: large site with a bit of dirt, which didn’t bother us too much. Been to lots of places worse and could easily pay a little more for Astroturf if needed / wanted. Site was clean and well kept. Staff: there aren’t a lot of caravan parks we have been to where the staff actually enjoy working there. Every staff member was delightful. The family who are running it at the moment are fantastic. Location: This park is central to some absolutely stunning spots. Currarong rock pools, Culbura, Callala, honeymoon bay to name a few. Perfect spot for us for the week. Showers: I wish I could take the heat, pressure, space of these showers for the rest of the trip. After 4 weeks around Wollongong with absolute trash showers these have restored my faith. Additional: putt putt and pool are fantastic. Both well kept and the kids enjoyed them. The place was a ghost town Mon-Thurs. felt like the only people here. This was great. Like most parks near Sydney, the weekend crew rolled in and yet still a great vibe.
